Don’t Miss the Super Harvest Moon Eclipse—Watch It Live for Free on Sept. 17!

Ready for a celestial show? On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the skies are putting on a performance you won’t want to miss—a partial lunar eclipse of the Super Harvest Moon! Whether you're in North America, Europe, or parts of Africa, this is your chance to see the moon like never before. And the best part? You can watch it live online for free!

Here’s the deal: This isn’t just any lunar eclipse. It’s happening during a “supermoon,” which means the moon will appear bigger and brighter. Why? Because it's a bit closer to Earth, giving us a front-row seat to a spectacular sky show. Even though only 8.7% of the moon will be covered by Earth’s shadow, it’s still an event that’ll have people buzzing.

Don’t worry if you can’t step outside and catch it in person. Thanks to some amazing livestreams, you can sit back and enjoy the view from anywhere. Whether you're on Eastern Time in the U.S. (where it kicks off around 8:40 p.m.) or across the globe, just grab your device and tune in.

Mark your calendars—this Super Harvest Moon eclipse is one to watch!

Anduril’s Big Bet: How Their AI Will Dominate the Space Race!

Anduril Industries, the defense tech firm that’s been making waves on the battlefield, is now setting its sights on space. That’s right—this AI-powered powerhouse is ready to revolutionize national security from the final frontier.

Here’s why this matters: Space is becoming a contested battlefield, and Anduril is stepping up to make sure we maintain an edge. Their cutting-edge AI tech is about to boost everything from space domain awareness to mission control, ensuring that we’re ahead of the game.

Anduril isn’t new to the defense world. In fact, they’ve been a key player since 2017, bagging a $1 billion contract with Special Ops Command and working on robotic combat vehicles. Now, they’re bringing that same expertise to space.

Their secret weapon? Lattice—a software platform that allows spacecraft to autonomously manage everything from imaging to command and control. This tech means fewer people doing manual labor and more spacecraft making smart, real-time decisions.

With plans to go even bigger by 2025, Anduril is just getting started. Keep an eye on this company—they’re set to make serious moves in space.

ispace’s Second Shot at the Moon: Will They Stick the Landing?

Japanese lunar exploration company, ispace, is gearing up for another go at landing on the Moon this December. After a tough first mission in 2022 where software issues caused their lander to crash, ispace has learned, adapted, and is ready to try again with their Hakuto-R lander, dubbed Resilience.

Here’s the scoop: Resilience, set to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9, will be delivering six payloads, including the first experiment attempting electrolysis on the Moon and a rover that’s set to gather lunar samples for NASA. Oh, and there’s an art project shaped like a little red house going up too—because, why not?

ispace’s engineers have put in the hard work, fixing the errors from last time and ensuring the lander makes a soft, successful touchdown this time around. And they’re not alone—two other private companies will attempt landings this winter as well. It’s a full-on lunar race, and ispace is right in the mix.

If they nail it this time, ispace will prove that private companies can play a huge role in the growing lunar economy. All eyes are on December to see if they can stick the landing.

New Worlds isn’t just another event.
It’s the launchpad for the boldest ideas in the universe—and you can be there to witness it all.
